Your Responsibilities
- Shall implement and work to all applicable regulatory and quality requirements as stipulated within the KeyMed Quality Manual, Quality Policy, and Quality Objectives.
- Shall implement and work to all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental requirements as stipulated within the HSE Manual, HSE Policies, and HSE Objectives.
- Assemble, test and pack product in accordance with the Device History Record (DHR) and assembly method.
- Ensure all components and tools used are fit for purpose and comply with any procedures.
- Establish and maintain good housekeeping using 6S techniques.
- Record assembly times accurately using the shop floor data capture system.
- Assist the picking team in the transfer of jigs and picking dollies to reduce downtime.
- Assist the Team Leader in the day to day running of the department.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
- Support the Team Leader in the achievement of KPI targets.
- Cover for other functions if trained to do so.
- Accurately use the ERP system to record relevant information and assembly time data.

- Manufacturing environment/factory work (Desirable)
- Medical Manufacturing & Assembly (Desirable)
- Physically fit and able to be on your feet for long time periods (Essential)
- Experience in a role requiring a high attention to detail (Essential)
- Power tools and calibrated equipment (Desirable)
- Computer hardware and using computer applications and systems (Essential)
- Working independently (Essential)
The role requires you to be on your feet for extended periods of time during your general day to day activities which include infrequent walking between sites. Some lifting of components within Health & Safety regulation limits will be required. Regular pushing and manoeuvring of various assembly aids is expected.
