Oltec Group is a nationwide facilities management provider delivering a range of property services across the UK, including planned and reactive maintenance, mechanical and electrical services, security, cleaning and fit-out. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit additional Helpdesk Coordinators to join our busy Facilities Management Helpdesk team in Wigan.

The Role

As a Helpdesk Coordinator, you will be one of the main points of contact for our clients, engineers and subcontractors, ensuring maintenance requests are dealt with professionally, efficiently and within the required timescales. This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent communication, organisation and customer-service skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and logging reactive maintenance requests from clients.
  • Allocating jobs to our nationwide network of engineers and approved subcontractors.
  • Monitoring jobs from initial instruction through to completion.
  • Ensuring urgent and emergency works are prioritised and escalated appropriately.
  • Liaising with clients and providing regular progress updates.
  • Obtaining updates, photographs, reports and completion information from engineers.
  • Monitoring service levels and ensuring jobs are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Updating our helpdesk and facilities management systems accurately.
  • Assisting with quotations and arranging follow-on works where required.
  • Working closely with our operational and management teams.
  • Maintaining a professional and helpful approach when dealing with clients, suppliers and colleagues.

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, confident and comfortable working in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly. The successful candidate should have:

  • Confidence dealing with clients, engineers and subcontractors.
  • Good computer and administrative skills.

Previous experience within a facilities management, maintenance, property, construction or service helpdesk environment would be advantageous, although training will be provided for the right candidate.
