Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a small team of technical operators.
  • Oversee planning, operation and delivery of all production, services and repairs through the business.
  • Health, Safety & Environment – To lead by example in actively promoting and inspiring a culture of health and safety where every team member's contribution and safety is considered critical.
  • Drive operational improvements and maintain high service standards.
  • Maintain the ERP system and continually improve business processes.
  • Ensure effective and regular communication with staff, contractors, customers, and suppliers to facilitate the smooth operation of business activities.
  • Represent the company with stakeholders, suppliers, and customers, and build constructive relationships to help further the work and reputation of the business.
  • Undertake any other duty or responsibility that may reasonably be allocated by the Technical Director or Managing Director.
  • Work in a flexible manner compatible with their jobs and in line with the objectives that the business must fulfil.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Data processing skills, the ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team but with the confidence to generate solutions and processes when working alone.
  • IOSH Health and Safety knowledge would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confidence to work closely with external customers and suppliers.
  • Good understanding and use of Microsoft systems.

Working Hours

This position will be full time, 38 hours per week – Monday-Thursday 9 - 5 pm, Friday 9 - 3 pm. This role is available with flexible working opportunities and further company benefits.
