The Marketing and Sales Assistant will support the Marketing and Sales team in executing channel-specific initiatives and day-to-day marketing and sales activities. This role involves both creative and administrative responsibilities aimed at advancing Olsen\’s brand visibility, customer engagement, and overall marketing objectives, as well as assisting with sales related activity.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work under the guidance of the Marketing Communications Professional and the Sales team to help reach Olsen’s sales and marketing goals.
- Support the team to implement key channel tactics on key sector campaigns.
- Management of social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring engagement.
- Support the development of written printed and digital marketing material.
- Deliver reports on research findings through written documents and verbal presentations.
- Assist in the development and production of promotional content, including brochures, blogs, and other marketing collateral.
- Support the development of video content to promote events, products and case studies.
- Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.
- Receive and acknowledge customer enquiries
- Maintain the CRM system data, including entering and updating customer and opportunity information
- Any other activity that is reasonably requested
SKILLS & BEHAVIOURS:
- Previous experience in sales and/or marketing.
- Good understanding of marketing principles
- Excellent attention to detail
- Adaptable, with a proactive attitude toward learning and taking on new tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work both in a team and independently
- Professional telephone manner
- Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office
- Problem-solving and creative-thinker
- Self starter, able to manage own priorities.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics tools and platforms
- Industry knowledge
- Flexible and the willingness to travel
