Your Role at a Glance

We are seeking a proactive, creative, and data-driven Social Media Executive to support the growth of our global beauty and personal care brands across digital platforms. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of social media channels, with a strong focus on content execution, performance tracking, and TikTok shop activation. Working closely with brand, creative, and commercial teams, you will play a key role in bringing our brands to life across social platforms, engaging our communities, and driving measurable performance. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a passion for beauty and skincare, strong platform expertise, and a keen eye for trends and content that converts.

Location & Flexibility

  • Full-time, permanent role based at our modern office in Runway East, London
  • Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 9 am to 6 pm with a one-hour lunch
  • This position is hybrid, with the expectation to go to the London office 2 to 3 days per week (more if you’d like).

Key responsibilities

  • Social Media Management & Execution
    • Manage the day-to-day running of social media channels across key platforms (including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and others as relevant).
    • Plan, schedule, and publish content aligned with brand strategy, market requirements, campaign calendars, and product launches.
    • Write engaging, on-brand copy tailored to each platform and audience.
    • Monitor community engagement, responding to comments and messages in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
    • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone of voice.
  • Content & TikTok Shop
    • Support the development and execution of social-first content, with a strong emphasis on TikTok.
    • Work closely with creative teams or creators to brief, produce, and optimise content that resonates with target audiences.
    • Manage and optimise TikTok Shop activity, including product tagging, campaign participation, and performance tracking.
    • Stay on top of platform trends, sounds, formats, and best practices to ensure content remains relevant and competitive.
    • Identify and support influencer and creator collaborations where required.
  • Performance & Reporting
    • Track, analyse, and report on social media performance across channels.
    • Monitor KPIs such as engagement, reach, follower growth, conversion, and ROI.
    • Create a best-in-class social playbook for our brands and provide regular insights and actionable recommendations to improve performance.
    • Support campaign reporting and post-activation analysis.
    • Use analytics tools and platform insights to inform content strategy and optimisation.
    • Work closely with brand, marketing, and e-commerce teams to align social activity with wider campaigns and commercial priorities.
    • Support campaign planning with social-first thinking and channel expertise.
    • Coordinate with external partners, creators, and agencies where required.
    • Maintain content calendars and ensure timely delivery of all social activity.

About you

  • 2–3+ years’ experience in social media, digital marketing, or content roles within beauty or skincare.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms, particularly TikTok and Instagram.
  • Hands-on experience with TikTok Shop is required.
  • Passion for beauty and skincare, with an understanding of trends, audiences, and competitive landscape in various markets.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using social analytics tools and translating data into insights.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with a strong eye for content, storytelling, and brand tone.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
