The Role
As a Graduate & Trainee Sales Executive, you’ll join an experienced internal sales team responsible for supporting electrical wholesalers, engineering contractors, OEMs and industrial businesses throughout the UK and overseas.
You’ll learn how to prepare quotations, manage customer enquiries, provide technical product advice and build long-term customer relationships while developing an in-depth understanding of specialist industrial electrical products.
Over time, you’ll gain knowledge across a broad range of solutions, including hazardous area equipment, industrial lighting, cable glands, enclosures, connectors, control stations and life safety products used within some of the world’s most demanding industrial environments.
The business also supplies customers internationally, giving you exposure to global markets and occasional opportunities to visit manufacturing partners overseas as part of your long-term development.
This isn’t a role where you’ll learn everything in a few weeks. Becoming a trusted technical sales professional takes time, and you’ll be supported every step of the way by experienced colleagues who are committed to helping you succeed.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Previous experience within electrical wholesale, engineering, manufacturing, technical distribution or industrial products would be advantageous but isn’t essential. Full product and technical training will be provided.

- Is a graduate or has gained some previous commercial, customer service or sales experience.
- Wants to build a long-term career within technical sales.
- Enjoys learning and has the ability to absorb technical information.
- Is organised, accurate and has excellent attention to detail.
- Communicates confidently and professionally with customers.
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
- Is reliable, dependable and committed to delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
Previous experience within electrical wholesale, engineering, manufacturing, technical distribution or industrial products would be advantageous but isn’t essential. Full product and technical training will be provided.
