Our client is a long-established specialist distributor serving customers across the UK. Working with leading manufacturers and supplying a broad range of commercial organisations, they’ve built an excellent reputation for product knowledge, customer service and reliability. Their customers include wholesalers, facilities management companies, student accommodation providers, holiday parks, leisure businesses and other commercial organisations.

The business is looking to strengthen its internal sales team with someone who brings enthusiasm, initiative and a genuine desire to win new business. The Role

This is a varied role combining outbound business development, account management and relationship building. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively contacting new and dormant business customers while developing relationships with existing accounts
  • Building long-term customer relationships and identifying new sales opportunities
  • Following up enquiries and converting opportunities into orders
  • Managing your own customer pipeline and sales activity
  • Keeping in regular contact with customers to maximise account growth
  • Supporting inbound customer enquiries where required
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and sales activity
  • Working closely with colleagues to maximise commercial opportunities

About You

This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys speaking to people, is commercially minded and gets genuine satisfaction from building relationships and winning business. You may already have experience in:
