This is an opportunity to join a long-established specialist distributor of industrial and hazardous area electrical products, becoming part of a knowledgeable and supportive internal sales team. For more than 40 years, the business has built an excellent reputation for technical knowledge and customer service, supplying specialist electrical solutions used across manufacturing, energy, pharmaceuticals, rail, marine, infrastructure and other safety-critical industries throughout the UK and internationally.

The Role

As an Internal Technical Sales Executive, you’ll become a key member of the internal sales team, supporting customers with technical enquiries, quotations and product advice across a specialist range of industrial electrical products. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing customer enquiries via telephone and email
  • Preparing accurate quotations and processing customer orders
  • Providing technical product information and internal sales support
  • Building strong relationships with electrical wholesalers, contractors, OEMs and industrial customers
  • Developing specialist knowledge across a broad range of industrial and hazardous area electrical products
  • Working closely with suppliers and colleagues to deliver excellent customer service
  • Supporting customers throughout the UK and international markets

You’ll receive full product training and ongoing support from an experienced team, allowing you to build technical understanding and confidence over time. Whether you’re already working in internal sales or have experience in customer service, engineering support or technical distribution, this role offers the opportunity to build a specialist career within technical sales. There may also be occasional opportunities to visit overseas manufacturing partners as part of ongoing product training and development.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Works well as part of a collaborative team

  • Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to their own transport

Previous experience within internal sales, customer service, technical sales, electrical wholesale, engineering, manufacturing, industrial distribution or another technical or commercial environment would be beneficial, but isn’t essential. Above all, we’re looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and the patience to develop within a specialist technical sales role.
