A well-established distributor specialising in HVAC and BMS controls is looking to add an Internal Technical Sales Executive to their Cardiff team. Part of a £1 billion UK distribution group, they’re the UK’s largest specialist distributor of BMS controls, with more than 35 years of industry experience and nationwide coverage.

The Role

Based in Cardiff Bay, this is a mixed role of account management covering an established client base, combined with proactive new business development. You’ll prepare quotations, work closely with the external sales team, liaise with suppliers, and support customers with technical enquiries. You’ll also identify opportunities for growth across a client base spanning BMS systems integrators, mechanical contractors, HVAC distributors, and FM companies.

What We're Looking For

  • Cardiff-based or within easy commuting distance, this is an office-based role
  • A background in technical sales (experience within HVAC, BMS, building services, or related technical distribution is desirable)
  • Confident managing existing accounts and developing new ones
  • Technically capable, or with the aptitude and drive to get there
  • A team player with a positive and proactive attitude to work

Working Hours

  • Monday-Thursday: 8:00am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm
  • Friday: 8:00am-3:30pm or 8:30am-4:00pm
