The Role
This is a proactive, relationship-focused sales position where you'll be responsible for developing your own portfolio of customers while identifying opportunities to grow sales across both new and existing accounts. Working alongside an experienced team, you'll receive the product knowledge and commercial training needed to become a trusted point of contact for your customers. You'll spend your time building relationships, preparing quotations, following up opportunities and helping customers find the right products and solutions for their business. You'll enjoy plenty of variety, balancing outbound business development with account management and inbound customer enquiries, giving you the opportunity to develop a broad range of commercial skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing relationships with new, existing and dormant business customers
- Proactively generating new business opportunities by telephone
- Managing your own portfolio of customer accounts
- Preparing quotations and following opportunities through to order
- Growing existing accounts through regular contact and excellent customer service
- Identifying additional sales opportunities across the product range
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and customer information
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver the best outcome for customers
- Handling inbound enquiries and providing knowledgeable sales support
About You
