Your role

Do you take pride in keeping machines running smoothly and ensuring customers are satisfied? Our client is looking for a Field Service Engineer who enjoys working independently while being supported by a strong, collaborative team. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you'll cover your designated region and play a key role in keeping our customers' operations up and running.

Your Duties

  • Carry out routine preventative maintenance and repairs on compressors, dryers, gas generators, and related equipment (all brands).
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose faults, perform effective repairs, and document your work using company tools.
  • Build positive relationships with customers and respond to their needs with professionalism and care.
  • Continue developing your skills in areas such as VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks and air audits.
  • Participate in an on-call rota and occasional overtime when required.
  • Share knowledge with colleagues, support training, and contribute to a culture of safety, learning, and teamwork.

To succeed, you will need

  • Previous experience in an industrial electrical or mechanical position.
  • Mechanical or electrical qualification. Although, we understand you might be qualified by experience.
  • Full UK driving licence - with less than 4 points.
  • Computer literacy can learn new systems.
  • Flexibility to participate in the call out rota.
  • You will work on-site, and will need to travel throughout your region.

Job location

You will be part of our client's team in Peterborough. You will join a dynamic field service team, working remotely and spending a significant amount of time traveling to visit customers within your designated area.
