The job
- Accompanying the driver on daily rounds throughout our region, delivering fresh cooking oil to restaurants and collecting waste cooking oil to be loaded back onto the lorry
- Interacting with up to 50 customers a day, providing an effective and helpful service
- Aiding the driver to locate any new locations that require delivery
- Filling out round sheets and invoices with quantities and prices
- Unloading used cooking oil from the vehicles back in the yard
- Loading vehicles with fresh stock ready for the next day
- Working as part of a team to ensure the site runs efficiently and effectively
We will be looking for
- Hardworking people with the desire to progress and gain knowledge
- Reliable attitude
- A car or moped driving licence
- At a minimum, GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C or above (or equivalent)
Please note, this role involves early hours, starting between 05:00 and 06:00 am. As the role can involve moving and carrying weights in excess of 20kgs, we will provide manual handling training and medical screening to the successful candidate.
