We’re looking for a Process Operator to help us keep our state-of-the-art Anaerobic Digestion plant online and running efficiently, processing circa 1,000 tonnes of food waste per week.
This is a varied and exciting role, giving the employee an opportunity to develop technical skills and knowledge alongside performing their day-to-day duties. Primarily, you’ll ensure the feed stock is tipped safely by delivery vehicles and processed effectively through the plants systems. You will also assist the sites Engineering Team with their maintenance tasks, repairs and projects when required.

Ensure that tasks are completed in line with health and safety requirements

Take a hands-on approach to the role, processing feed stock through the plant system

Work with the Maintenance Technicians to co-ordinate planned and corrective maintenance activities

Support the continuous improvement of the facility

Previous experience of working on a mobile plant desirable but not essential

Forklift Truck license preferrable – Counterbalance

Experience in an industrial related field, ideally anaerobic digestion or waste recycling desirable but not essential
