A little bit about the role:

As a Senior Credit Controller based in our Blisworth offices, you will be a fundamental part of our team, enabling us to continue with our mission to serve the planet, a purpose we care strongly about and are committed to. You will form part of a Finance team consisting of 30 people who are motivated to learn and develop with training provided giving you an opportunity to develop your skills and progress within an established Company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the support and training of the Credit Control team.
  • Monitor aged debt and implement effective collection strategies.
  • Review and approve credit limits and terms for new and existing customers.
  • Prepare regular reports on debtor performance and key KPI’s.
  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries and disputes promptly.
  • Authorising/raising of credit notes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
  • Escalation of overdue accounts to 3rd party Collection agencies.

We will be looking for:

  • Proven experience in credit control, ideally in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in financial systems and Microsoft Office (Excel essential).
  • Ability to work and remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good attention to detail.
