As our Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in setting up and running a safe, efficient warehouse and despatch operation from the ground up, supporting high throughput pallet movements and daily outbound deliveries.
The Job- Foster a safety‑first mindset and drive continuous improvement aligned with Olleco’s "journey to zero" culture.
- Lead and supervise day‑to‑day warehouse and despatch activity: receiving, put‑away, stock control, picking, staging and loading.
- Coordinate safe and efficient loading of outbound vehicles (including curtain siders), ensuring the right product, right pallet, right paperwork, right time.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and site standards (clean‑as‑you‑go, clear aisles/exits, spill response), keeping the warehouse safe, tidy and audit‑ready.
- Own routine racking checks/inspections and ensure actions are raised and closed out promptly.
- Ensure safe operation and daily checks of MHE (FLT/pallet trucks) and elevate defects immediately.
- Support stock accuracy through disciplined location control, investigation of variances, and clean data/records.
- Train, coach and organise warehouse operatives using structured onboarding and safety training approaches.
- Work closely with production/packing colleagues to keep flow moving and prevent bottlenecks in a high‑volume pallet environment.
- Proven experience supervising a warehouse team in a fast‑paced environment (FMCG/food/manufacturing/packing desirable).
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse H.
