We are now looking for an Engineer Apprentice to join our team and help us to continue to do things the right way for customers, colleagues, and the planet.
With over 1,000 colleagues in multiple sites nationwide delivering excellent performance, we supply premium cooking oils and collect organic waste, which is then converted into bio-methane, electricity, heat, and organic fertiliser. We offer the human touch with local, community-based depots that seek to give back to those communities every chance we get.

Completing an Embedded Electrical Electronics Systems Design & Development Engineering Apprenticeship Level 6 through Buckinghamshire New University – this is a fantastic opportunity to start and develop a career in Electronic Systems Design and Development.

A little bit more about the role:
- Performing supervised maintenance tasks.
- Develop skills in automation, control, electrical, and instrumentation.
- Develop the ability to create process logic and SCADA graphics for required process changes/upgrades.
- Perform routine diagnostic checks on automated systems.
- Develop the ability to perform verification checks on interlocks, alarms, and controls performance.
- Develop the ability to troubleshoot PLC, instrumentation, and LV electrical control circuits.
- Ensure the daily maintenance of PPM records by using CMMS.
- Provide supervised technical support to the site.
- Learn through supported reactive maintenance activities.
- Perform mini-projects to cover relevant FE criteria and support the overall maintenance strategy.
