Product Manager – Spain
We’re Oliver’s Travels and we’re passionate about making travel extraordinary. Our dedication has been rewarded through multiple awards, including being awarded First Place in the 2024 Conde Nast Traveller Readers’ Awards and we have recently been named in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 companies.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Product Manager to join our Spain Product team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping and managing our Spain product portfolio, building strong supplier relationships, and delivering outstanding travel experiences that align with our company’s vision and standards.
Salary: £40,000 – 45,000 dependent upon experience.
Please note: This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days each week in our London office.
Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership and specialization in assigned destinations, ensuring expertise and leadership in development and management.
- Create compelling product propositions to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Negotiate and secure favourable commercial terms and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Drive marketing campaign ideas and oversee website development to boost engagement and conversions.
- Lead and inspire teams, set clear goals, provide feedback, train and mentor team members, and manage performance.
- Develop strategies, prioritize tasks, set deadlines, and ensure program profitability without compromising quality.
- Organise familiarization trips and ensure each trip delivers maximum strategic value to the business.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between product, sales, marketing, and customer service teams.
- Manage resource allocation, solve performance issues, oversee recruitment, and ensure compliance across activities.
- Analyse reports to make data-driven decisions, evaluate ROI, and guide business strategies.
- Address complaints, support sales queries, and maintain direct partnerships to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Travel internationally to strengthen supplier relationships, develop products, and represent the company as an ambassador.
- Contract and grow property portfolios, conduct price and market analysis, and support marketing and sales efforts.
What you need (experience and skills):
- Experience in destination management, product development, and commercial negotiations within the travel or hospitality sector.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams while fostering collaboration and achieving business objectives.
- Strong skills in planning, profitability management, and negotiating advantageous terms with partners.
- Creative leadership in designing and executing marketing campaigns and enhancing website engagement.
- Ability to manage resources, ensure compliance, and oversee operational activities effectively.
- Willingness to travel internationally, represent the company, and build strong supplier relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills for collaboration, decision-making, and driving business success.
