This remit will hold IE responsibility for the Emerging Markets region of the business, a region that encompasses 14 factories ranging from Mexico to Australia.

As Associate Director Industrial Engineering you will play a crucial role in:

  • developing and implementing the supply strategy across a broad geographical remit, including 14 factories
  • shape supply solutions for regional innovations or for major growth initiatives
  • lead specific transformational projects (sourcing circles, restructuring…)

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Capital & Fixed Asset Management
  • Capacity & Capability Management
  • Emerging Markets IT Team & Community Management

As Associate Director Industrial Engineering you will work with a broad range of interfaces, such as the Global Supply Team, GM\’s, Plant Managers, Country IE & Engineering Teams, Finance etc. As a result, we require someone who will have a good understanding of all manufacturing technologies utilised by our client, as well as strong business acumen to validate project proposals against business objectives.

You will have exceptional influencing skills, and broad supply knowledge due to the complex and varied nature of the tasks. You will also demonstrate the ability to excel with interpersonal relations at all levels including senior/ board level.

As this role holds responsibility for a broad international region there will be an expectation that the successful hire will travel 35-40% of the time. It would also be advantageous if you spoke additional languages other than excellent English language skills.
