What you’ll be doing
- Leading project staffing and resource planning across the practice.
- Partnering with practice leadership to anticipate talent, capacity and performance needs.
- Supporting consultant development, career reviews, promotions and performance discussions.
- Using workforce data and insights to improve staffing, utilisation and talent outcomes.
- Building trusted relationships across consultants, partners and cross‑functional teams.
- Leading and developing members of the Talent Management team where applicable.
By the end of your first year, you’ll have:
- Become the trusted Talent Management partner for your practice leadership team.
- Built a deep understanding of your consultant population, project pipeline and business priorities.
- Established effective staffing processes that balance client needs with consultant development.
- Successfully supported key performance and promotion cycles.
- Identified opportunities to improve talent processes using data, technology and AI.
- Helped strengthen collaboration across Talent Management and partner functions.
Who we’re looking for
- 5‑8 years’ experience in talent management, staffing, HR or a fast‑paced professional services environment.
- Outstanding relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Experience of managing competing priorities in a dynamic, client‑focused business.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data, Excel and PowerPoint.
- A collaborative, proactive approach with excellent judgement and attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for developing people and helping teams succeed.
We’d be especially interested if you have
- Experience in management consulting or another project‑based professional services environment.
- Knowledge of staffing, utilisation or resource‑management systems (such as Certinia).
- Experience leading or coaching others.
- Curiosity about how technology and AI can improve talent management.
