The Organisational Performance team assists our clients in designing, activating and sustaining high-performing organisations so that they can achieve their strategic goals and deliver lasting business impact. Our approach combines rigorous organisation and operating model design with people-led transformation and change management, helping clients build the right structures, capabilities, behaviours and performance disciplines to succeed in complex transformation environments.

Our core work is divided into 4 pillars:

  • Organisation & Operating Model Design - Support clients in designing target operating models, strategic organisational structures, accountabilities, roles and skills, location models and workforce plans that strengthen organisational health and enable future growth.
  • Organisational Efficiency - Help clients improve organisational cost, performance and transparency through efficiency diagnostics, cost and FTE benchmarking, spans and layers analysis, G&A cost reduction, finance and HR transformation, Global Business Services design and sustainable cost management.
  • Change Management and Transformation Success - Enable clients to deliver successful transformations through people-led change, transformation set-up, transformation office design, change effectiveness diagnostics, leadership engagement, communications strategies, workshops and activation programmes.
  • Culture, Behaviour and Change - Support clients in shaping the culture and behaviours required for transformation success, including culture assessments, behavioural change capabilities, leadership activation, leadership assessment, cultural integration and scaled engagement interventions.

What You Will Do

You will play a pivotal role in shaping client engagements from problem definition through implementation. Working alongside colleagues and clients, you will help organizations solve complex technology and transformation challenges while supporting the development of junior consultants.

  • Lead workstreams across organisation transformation engagements, structuring analyses and developing actionable recommendations that support client decision-making.
  • Help clients design target operating models, organisational structures, governance models, workforce strategies and ways of working that enable sustainable business performance.
  • Support organisation effectiveness and efficiency programmes, including organisational diagnostics, workforce planning, cost optimisation and operating model transformation.
  • Apply structured problem solving and analytical thinking to complex organisational and transformation challenges, combining quantitative and qualitative insights to develop practical recommendations.
  • Develop high-quality client deliverables, including executive presentations, organisation designs, transformation roadmaps, workshop materials and implementation plans.
  • Work across industries while building deep expertise in Organisational Performance and collaborating with specialists across Oliver Wyman's global practices.
  • Manage and coach junior team members, fostering an inclusive, collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Build trusted client relationships through clear communication, thoughtful stakeholder management and a focus on delivering lasting organisational impact.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in a Tier 1 strategy consulting firm or a comparable strategy, transformation or organisational consulting environment.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Organisation design
    • Operating model transformation
    • Organisation effectiveness
    • Workforce transformation
    • Change management
    • Transformation management office (TMO)
    • Organisation efficiency
    • Culture and behavioural change
  • Undergraduate or advanced degree from a leading university.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to structure ambiguous organisational and business challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel as client needs require.
