The Events Planner manages and supports the delivery of internal training and firm events, working closely with the OW Learning and Development Team. This role joins a global team, reporting to the Events Manager - UK, and is responsible for coordinating, producing, and delivering events aligned with the firm's learning and development strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and manage execution of internal in-person training and firm events.
- Collaborate with the Event Operations Manager for venue and vendor sourcing, from brief to contract negotiations.
- Coordinate event logistics including agenda, travel, invitations, registration, F&B, and materials in collaboration with L&D, IT, Design, and BCD Travel.
- Manage event budgets and perform cost reconciliation.
- Handle all aspects of Cvent registration, including website creation, management, reporting, and event mailbox.
- Build and manage Event App for large training programs as needed.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships, including procurement and contract negotiations.
- Work with stakeholders to develop and deliver training programs.
- Lead projects to develop guidelines and share best practices.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3+ years of event planning experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
