The candidate will join Oliver Wyman’s Finance & Risk capability and work closely with the Banking & Financial Services practice. You will partner with UK, European and global clients to address complex strategic, financial, regulatory and transformation challenges. Attributes and Experience
We look for candidates with:
- 3–8 years of relevant experience, ideally from a top‑tier strategy or financial‑services consulting firm, bank, fintech, regulator or similar organisation
- Experience in Banking & Financial Services, including banking, capital markets, insurance, payments, wealth management, fintech or financial‑market infrastructure
- Exposure to finance, treasury, capital, liquidity, risk, regulation, credit, operating‑model, transformation, cost, digital, data or analytics topics
- Hands‑on experience with data, analytics, modelling or AI‑enabled financial‑services transformation is beneficial but not required
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to conduct or leverage sophisticated analysis to identify trends, draw conclusions and present recommendations
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills, adaptable to different audiences and seniority levels
- Fluent business English; additional European languages are beneficial but not required
- Undergraduate or advanced degree in STEM, finance, economics, business or another analytically rigorous discipline
- Collaborative teamwork ability and an inclusive approach with people at all levels
