Oliver Wyman is looking for a Certinia Finance Administrator / PS and ERP Cloud Applications Specialist to join our Technology Team in London
Please Note: Oliver Wyman/MMC operates a hybrid working policy and we will require the successful candidate to work from the London Baker Street office at least 60% of the time.
The Opportunity:
This role demands a deep understanding of accounting practices, particularly in expense management and accounts payables processes, client invoicing and accounts receivables processes, revenue recognition, WIP reporting and backlog reporting.
The ideal candidate will effectively apply these practices within the Certinia PS Cloud and ERP Cloud applications.
This position involves collaborating with key stakeholders across the business, finance and business relationship managers to manage application questions, implement changes and drive application enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
Certinia Application Management:
- Supporting, administering and maintaining Certinia PS Cloud and ERP Cloud applications
- Supporting month end closure financial processes
- Monitoring system performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth operation.
- Implementing and overseeing application changes and enhancements.
- Applying and supporting the accounting practices within the Certinia applications; including opportunity and project management, Revenue recognition engine and Time management, Backlog management, Invoicing and currency matter, Work in progress reporting and project economics
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Acting as a liaison between the business, finance and business relationship managers to understand and address application-related needs
- Providing technical solutions to meet business requirements.
- Drive the development and enhancements of the application relating to finance and accounting matters
- Conducting user training sessions on application functionalities and best practices
Technical Support and Documentation:
- Offering technical support to internal teams regarding Certinia applications
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for application processes and configurations.
- Ensuring data integrity and security within the applications.
Who this role will suit:
- You’ll have a minimum of 3 years\’ experience with Certinia Accounting (FinancialForce)
- You’ll have a minimum 3 years\’ experience as a Salesforce Administrator
- Someone with a solid background in accounting practices, especially in accounts payable, accounts receivable and revenue recognition.
- Experience with WIP and backlog reporting is desired
- A demonstrated capability to work with business stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions
- Agile delivery experience using methodologies like Scrum or SAFe, and tools like ServiceNow, Jira and Azure DevOps.
- A qualification or degree in Computer Science, Accountancy or a related field is expected
