Overview
In this role you help design and implement high-performing organisations for clients, shaping problem definitions into actionable transformation plans. You work with cross-functional teams across industries to design operating models, governance, and workforce strategies while coaching junior consultants. You’ll drive structured problem solving and deliver executive-ready materials that enable durable impact. Responsibilities
- Lead workstreams across organisation transformation engagements, structuring analyses and developing recommendations
- Design target operating models, organisational structures, governance models, workforce strategies and ways of working
- Support organisation effectiveness and efficiency programmes (diagnostics, workforce planning, cost optimisation, operating model transformation)
- Apply structured problem solving using quantitative and qualitative insights to derive practical recommendations
- Develop high-quality client deliverables (executive presentations, organisation designs, roadmaps, workshop materials, implementation plans)
- Collaborate with specialists across Oliver Wyman's global practices and build deep Organisational Performance expertise
- Manage and coach junior team members, fostering an inclusive, high-performing environment
- Build trusted client relationships through clear communication and stakeholder management
Key requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a Tier 1 strategy or comparable transformation/organisation consulting environment
- Experience in organisation design, operating model transformation, organisation effectiveness, workforce transformation, change management, TMO, organisation efficiency, or culture and behavioural change
- Undergraduate or advanced degree from a leading university
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to structure ambiguous challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel as client needs require
- Preferred: experience in target operating model design, shared services or GBS, leadership development, culture transformation
