Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am till 5pm. 40 hours per week
We’re on the lookout for a Trainee Gardener to join our team in Alderley Edge & Knutsford.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- To work with the existing gardener in beautifully established gardens/grounds
- Assist with mowing lawns, strimming, edging, and hedge cutting.
- Maintain gardens to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
- Support seasonal tasks such as leaf clearance, pruning, and planting.
- Work effectively as part of a team while developing horticultural knowledge and skills.
What You’ll Bring:
- We’re not expecting you to know everything from day one—full training is provided.
- Have some experience with manual handling activities.
- Are reliable and take pride in your work.
- Have a positive attitude and enjoy being part of a team.
- Are keen to learn and get stuck in as a workshop operative.
- Have basic numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
- Own transport.
