We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Document Controller to join our manufacturing team in Knutsford. This is an exciting time to join the fastest growing and most successful family‑owned valve manufacturer in the UK.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare, manage and file documents for company projects and day to day orders.
- Support procedures to maintain transparent, up‑to‑date and easily traceable documents.
- Generate and submit customer documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans.
- Liaise with internal departments including engineering, sales, production and shopfloor.
- Generate, where required, Manufacturing Record Books (MRB).
- Ensure timely completion of documentation to the Customer.
- Maintain accurate records using the company’s Document Management System (DMS).
- Liaise with third party inspectors on all documentation related issues.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum of 2 year’s working in the engineering or manufacturing industry or relevant experience in document process/handling/administrating.
- Good working knowledge of quality systems such as ISO9001 is an advantage.
- Strong administration skills.
- Proficient in computer software programs – word processors, spreadsheet programs, and database systems.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Reliability and a detail‑oriented approach.
- Be a pro‑active team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Have good numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
