We are looking for a Quality Certification Technician to join our manufacturing team in Knutsford. This is an exciting time to join the fastest growing and most successful family-owned valve manufacturer in the UK.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee the material certification process for Oliver UK companies
- UK point of contact for Indian certificate checking team
- Resolve material certification issues identified by the certificate checking team with Suppliers/Stockist/Test House/Mill in a timely manner. This could be missing, or incorrect, information and poor-quality copies.
- Liaise with the Engineering and Quality departments for further guidance relating to certification queries.
- Where required, review urgent supplier certificate packs in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with the relevant company, customer, national & international material specifications and standards.
- Quarantine components with material certificate issues
- Maintain accurate records for materials to ensure full traceability
- Advise/assist suppliers on material certificates and specifications, providing training where necessary.
- Reporting on material certificate checking activities
- Support the Oliver QA department in other activities such as:
- Internal auditing
- Report and procedure writing
- Problem solving
What You’ll Bring
- GCSE min grade 4 or equivalent in Maths and English
- Experience in a documentation related role (not essential)
- Familiarity with engineering material certification would be an advantage
- Use of Microsoft office
- Reliability and a detail-oriented approach.
- Be a pro-active team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Have good numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
