About the role:
An opportunity to join our Digital Team has arisen for an ambitious and passionate Website Executive. Working in partnership with our client based in Saudi Arabia (an internationally known B2B organisation), the Website Executive will support with the content, updates, optimisation, and the running of our client’s multiple event websites. Our client’s ambition is to offer a best-in-class digital customer experience.
Reporting to the Website Manager, the Website Executive will have solid knowledge when it comes to understanding how to work in CMS platforms to update new website content and ensuring that quality control is applied before being made live, understand code (HTML, CSS, Java Script), and have good technical SEO knowledge and understanding. You will know what good looks like in the digital space, and you will be the guardian of brand consistency when updates are being applied.
What you will be doing:
- Creating and maintaining webpages across all of our client’s event websites.
- Identifying opportunities for website performance improvement based on user feedback and performance analysis.
- Ongoing management of the website CMS’s in the back end.
- Developing and implementing technical SEO optimisations to the existing site pages, and new content moving forward to improve website rankings.
- Technical skills, such as basic HTML, CSS and Java Script coding skills and troubleshooting.
- Evaluating and recommending new web technologies where you see fit.
- The ability to project manage your tasks and manage stakeholder expectation.
- Staying up to date with emerging website technologies.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics and being able to interpret results and performance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex information in a simple and clear manner that is understandable.
- A can-do, self-starting, and critical mind with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
What you need to be great in this role:
- Confident with presentation skills – both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical skills to suggest data-driven solutions.
- Ability to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a digital agency service.
- Experience in the event sector would be a benefit, B2B experience is a must.
