About the role: This role sits at the intersection of technology, creative excellence, and social platform evolution. It demands someone who understands both the strategic potential of AI and the day‑to‑day realities of social teams — and who can get under the bonnet of LLMs, agents, and automated workflows to build practical solutions on OLIVER’s proprietary platform. You will work across five areas:
- Drive AI Tool Adoption: Lead adoption of AI tools across OLIVER's social operations, simplifying implementation and removing barriers. Champion OLIVER's proprietary AI software as the primary agent‑building platform — becoming the internal go‑to expert. Create case studies and clear instructions that demonstrate practical tool value. Build adoption metrics and feedback loops to continuously improve deployment.
- Design and Build AI Agents: Use OLIVER's proprietary software to design, configure, test, and deploy agents for social use cases — from content ideation and trend monitoring to community management and reporting automation. Architect multi‑agent workflows, orchestrating specialised agents in sequence or in parallel. Apply prompt engineering best practices including RAG, tool use, chain‑of‑thought reasoning, and human‑in‑the‑loop checkpoints. Maintain a library of reusable agent templates and blueprints for rapid client configuration. Feed real‑world insights back to product and technology teams to shape platform evolution.
- Sell and Pitch AI Agent Solutions to Clients: Lead client discovery sessions to identify where AI agents can deliver measurable value in social operations. Build and present proposals and proof‑of‑concept demonstrations, translating agent capabilities into clear business outcomes. Develop ROI frameworks covering time savings, content throughput, and performance uplift. Own the end‑to‑end client journey from scoping and solution design through to deployment and expansion.
- Develop AI‑Enhanced Social Workflows: Transform social processes across strategy, content production, publishing, community management, and optimisation. Design agentic workflow architectures that identify where autonomous execution adds value and where human oversight is essential, with clear quality control and brand safety checkpoints. Create standardised, scalable processes across diverse client portfolios and markets.
- Lead Innovation and Intelligence: Monitor the competitive landscape and emerging AI developments, identifying opportunities and threats. Research and evaluate new tools and platforms for potential integration into OLIVER's offering. Build relationships with technology partners and platform representatives to access early innovations.
- Training and Education: Work with training teams to design and deliver education on AI tools and best practice — including LLM fundamentals, agent architecture, prompt design, and workflow orchestration — so social teams can engage with and iterate on agent‑powered systems with confidence. Create accessible, jargon‑free materials that demystify agent‑building for non‑technical audiences. Support role‑specific training paths across social functions and measure effectiveness through feedback and performance outcomes.
What you need to be great in this role:
- Proven track record in social media strategy and brand marketing, with deep understanding of platform dynamics, creator workflows, and community management.
- Hands‑on experience implementing AI tools in social marketing environments.
- Genuine understanding of how LLMs work — prompt engineering, RAG, context windows, fine‑tuning, and model limitations — enough to build and communicate credibly with any audience.
- Practical experience building AI agents or automated workflows, with real‑world examples to discuss.
- Experience architecting multi‑step agentic workflows: agent roles, tool integrations, memory design, and error‑handling logic.
- Experience leading transformation initiatives, with proven ability to bring people on the journey.
- Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and system integrations — enough to scope feasibility without writing code.
- Ability to influence across all organisational levels, from junior creators to C‑suite.
- Experience developing training programmes and educational content.
- Sharp eye for emerging social trends, platform updates, and AI developments.
- Formal qualifications welcome but not required — equivalent experience counts. Evidence of agent‑building projects or AI workflow automations will carry significant weight.
Our values shape everything we do: Be Imaginative to push the boundaries of what’s possible. Be always learning and listening to understand. Be actively pro‑inclusive and anti‑racist across our community, clients and creations.
