About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Treasury Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimising cash management activities, managing bank KYC documentation, processing treasury payments, and utilising the FIS Integrity Treasury Management System (TMS) to enhance our treasury operations. The role also includes managing foreign exchange and money market trades, as well as intercompany loan management through TMS, along with supporting various day-to-day treasury functions.
What you will be doing:
- Cash Management: Monitor daily cash positions and liquidity to ensure adequate resources for operational needs. Develop and implement cash management strategies to optimize the company’s cash position and return. Prepare regular cash flow forecasts and variance analysis.
- Bank KYC Management: Manage and maintain comprehensive KYC documentation for all banking relationships. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to banking operations. Serve as a primary point of contact for bank-related inquiries and relationship management.
- Treasury Payments: Oversee the execution of domestic and international payments ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Reconcile treasury-related accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly. Implement and maintain internal controls related to treasury payment processes.
- FIS Integrity TMS Utilisation: Utilize FIS Integrity TMS to streamline treasury operations and reporting. Process and record FX trades and money market transactions through TMS. Manage intercompany loans, including tracking and documentation, using TMS. Generate and analyse treasury reports using FIS Integrity to support decision-making. Train team members on the effective use of the FIS Integrity system.
- Day-to-Day Treasury Operations: Coordinate and manage intercompany cash flows and funding. Assist in managing foreign exchange transactions and hedging activities. Support the month-end and quarter-end close processes related to treasury functions. Document and implement treasury policies and procedures to ensure best practices. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve treasury-related issues and queries. Stay updated on market trends and changes to regulations impacting treasury activities.
What you need to be great in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., AMCT) is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in treasury operations, cash management, and banking.
- Proficiency in using FIS Integrity Treasury Management System.
- Experience in processing FX trades, money market trades, and managing intercompany loans.
- Strong understanding of KYC processes and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and relationship management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
