This is an opportunity to join OLIVER's award-winning in-house studio embedded with one of the UK's most recognised financial services brands, as a Senior Project Manager – AI & Creative Operations, delivering structured, efficient, and forward-thinking creative production across marketing channels.
In-house studios are where creative ambition and operational rigour meet. Based in London on a hybrid basis, you'll lead a team of project managers and producers while simultaneously driving the integration of AI tools — including Pencil — into the studio's creative workflows. You'll own complex, high-volume delivery across multiple channels, managing account-level budgets and acting as the operational backbone of a studio that is as ambitious about how it works as it is about what it produces.
We support flexible working and are open to different arrangements. We offer reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process.
As Senior Project Manager – AI & Creative Operations, you sit at the intersection of delivery and transformation. You're accountable for the day-to-day project management of a busy in-house studio — coordinating creative, strategy, data, and client teams — and for redesigning the operational systems that underpin how the studio works at scale.
You lead a team, manage account-level budgets, and champion the thoughtful integration of generative AI tools into production processes. This isn't about adopting AI for the sake of it. It's about identifying where AI genuinely improves quality, removes friction, and creates capacity for better creative thinking. You bring the leadership credibility to develop a team, the rigour to manage complexity at pace, and the operational vision to build a studio that's built to last.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of project managers and producers — setting clear expectations, providing structured feedback, and supporting career development.
- Manage complex, multi-channel creative projects from brief to delivery, ensuring quality, consistency, and on-time, on-budget output across a high-volume account.
- Drive the integration of AI tools into creative production workflows — including Pencil — identifying where AI-assisted production can meaningfully increase efficiency and raise output quality.
- Lead operational transformation across the studio: redesigning workflows, embedding new ways of working, and building scalable processes that support growth without compromising standards.
- Act as the senior operational partner to stakeholders — managing expectations proactively, resolving escalations, and building lasting client trust.
- Partner cross-functionally with creative, strategy, data, and technology teams to ensure projects are accurately scoped, appropriately resourced, and delivered effectively.
- Manage account-level production budgets, including cost estimation, forecasting, purchase orders, invoicing, reconciliation, and supplier negotiation — reporting financial performance to OLIVER and stakeholders.
- Identify and address operational risk early, putting contingency plans in place before issues escalate.
- Set quality standards for project management practice across the team — coaching structured delivery methodologies and AI-assisted workflows.
- Contribute to account growth by identifying opportunities to expand the studio's operational value.
WHAT YOU BRING
- A strong track record of managing complex, multi-channel creative projects in an in-house studio, agency, or production environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team of project managers or producers.
- Proficiency with project management tools and platforms; comfortable evaluating, implementing, and embedding new systems.
- Hands-on experience with AI creative tools, including Pencil or similar platforms, with a clear point of view on how AI improves creative production — and where it doesn't.
- Experience managing account-level production budgets, including cost estimation, supplier negotiation, and financial reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills — able to build trust with senior clients and internal teams, and to manage complexity across multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- A systematic, process-driven mindset with a track record of operational transformation: redesigning ways of working, embedding new tools, and building processes that scale.
- Clear, confident communication skills across a range of audiences — from day-to-day team briefings to senior client presentations.
- Experience in, or familiarity with, regulated industries — financial services background advantageous but not required.
- Familiarity with content production workflows across digital, social, print, and broadcast channels.
