About the role

As Senior Integrated Designer you’ll lead creative thinking and execution across the studio’s full channel mix, from initial concept through to final delivery across digital, social, motion, print, and events. You’ll bring both ideas and craft to every brief, ensuring work is visually strong, strategically considered, and consistent across touchpoints and markets. Operating within a regulated financial services environment, you’ll bring discipline to compliance‑sensitive materials, set quality benchmarks for the team, embed AI‑assisted design workflows, and help build a studio the wider organisation is proud of.

What you will be doing

  • Concept and create on‑brand integrated work across the full channel mix, brand campaigns, digital and social content, motion, print, events, marketing collateral, thought leadership, and long‑form communications, from brief through to final delivery.
  • Bring integrated thinking to every brief, considering how ideas translate across channels, formats, and markets before execution begins.
  • Produce motion and animation work for digital and social, applying strong storytelling and timing principles alongside visual craft.
  • Adapt integrated design solutions for seven markets and multiple product lines, maintaining visual and conceptual consistency within brand guardrails; prepare all files to correct digital, motion, and print specifications.
  • Manage multiple live projects simultaneously, maintaining brand integrity, quality standards, and deadlines across all output.

Brand Guardianship & Consistency

  • Champion consistency of visual identity, tone, and quality across every touchpoint and market, proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen brand expression.
  • Apply compliance requirements, disc‑max, substantiation standards, and sign‑off checkpoints as standard practice, with approvals documented correctly.
  • Contribute to brand guidelines, scalable templates, and asset systems that enable speed and consistency across the studio.
  • Lead, direct, and mentor the design team, providing clear creative briefs, constructive feedback, and development support that raises capability and output quality across the integrated mix.
  • Work closely with the embedded team and client stakeholders to develop integrated creative ideas, translating feedback into clear direction for the team.

Gen AI & Agentic Thinking

  • Apply advanced AI tools to enhance integrated creative output and workflows, building effective prompts, critically evaluating results, and maintaining rigorous human oversight of quality and compliance.
  • Design and embed AI‑assisted workflows for the team, setting quality benchmarks and guiding responsible AI use across sizing, adaptation, motion, transcreation, and production efficiency.
  • Break down complex, multi‑format creative challenges into clear steps, leading the team to the best outcome efficiently and adapting confidently when priorities shift.

What you need to be great in this role

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating integrated creative thinking and execution across digital, social, motion, print, and campaign formats, with evidence of both conceptual originality and hands‑on craft.
  • Advanced proficiency across Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects) and Figma; expert understanding of graphic design, typography, motion, and digital production standards.
  • Proven ability to concept ideas that work across channels, not just adapt static design to new formats.
  • Experience producing motion and animation work for digital and social, with strong storytelling instincts alongside technical execution.
  • Experience producing integrated work for international or multi‑market campaigns, adapting design systems across countries and channels within brand guardrails.
  • Deep understanding of brand identity systems, able to apply, protect, and evolve visual standards across a complex, multi‑touchpoint portfolio.
  • Familiarity with regulated industries (financial services, insurance, or similar), or demonstrated ability to work within compliance, legal, and governance frameworks.
  • Experience contributing to brand guidelines, scalable templates, and asset systems that enable consistency and speed across a team.
  • Experience leading and mentoring designers, providing clear creative direction, developmental feedback, and coaching that builds integrated craft capability.
  • Confident presenting and defending integrated creative concepts to senior stakeholders, translating feedback into clear direction for the team.
  • Advanced use of AI tools relevant to integrated design, building effective workflows, evaluating outputs critically, and training others in responsible AI use.
  • Agentic mindset: able to lead a team through complex, multi‑format creative challenges, adapting confidently when priorities shift and maintaining quality under pressure.
  • Formal degrees are welcome but not required. Equivalent experience counts. Experience can be gained through work, study, volunteering, or self‑directed learning.

Our values shape everything we do: Be imaginative to push the boundaries of what’s possible. Be always learning and listening to understand. Be actively pro‑inclusive and anti‑racist across our community, clients and creations.
