We are recruiting for an experienced Email Marketing Manager to join our client team, working directly within their Wealth Management and Digital Investing businesses to deliver clear, customer‐centric email communications through Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

We are looking specifically for someone with:

  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) end‐to‐end campaign management
  • Experience with email template design, HTML/CSS coding, and design tools (Photoshop, Dreamweaver)
  • Strong analytical skills using dashboards and reporting tools to measure engagement and commercial KPIs
  • A proven ability to manage stakeholder demand and deliver flawless execution in regulated environments
  • Experience of creating and managing test & learn programmes to drive business outcomes

LOCATION: Hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. That means you'll work at an onsite location on fixed, 'anchor', days of the week, for a minimum of two or three days a week. These anchor days are dependent on location – this is also flexible but could be London, Northampton or Glasgow.

ROLE MISSION: As an experienced and expert Email Marketing Manager, you'll elevate business results by leveraging data, technology, and creative expertise to deliver clear, customer‐centric marketing communications. You'll manage and deliver the daily strategic and tactical operations of the email channel, understanding the end‐to‐end campaign management process within Salesforce Marketing Cloud while conforming to best practices and providing Quality Assurance.

You'll influence stakeholders using your technical email expertise to ensure best practice is applied across Salesforce account set up, template module creation, and execution success. Working with agency partners and internal brand teams, you'll ensure email template design is on‐brand and fit for purpose. You'll take ownership of defining, reviewing, and updating control processes behind the design, build, and send of marketing emails, including training Marketing Managers on Segregation of Duty Controls and continuously identifying improvements to ensure flawless execution.

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING: You'll work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the Wealth Management, Smart Investor, and Plan & Invest businesses as part of the Wealth Management marketing team. You'll be responsible for managing email demand from these key stakeholders, ensuring their needs are understood and met to help achieve their business goals.

You'll build strong working relationships across a number of internal teams including Brand, Product, Risk, Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams.

As part of your role, you'll be:

  • Managing the email channel end‐to‐end – delivering daily strategic and tactical operations including campaign management process within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, conforming to best practices and providing Quality Assurance
  • Influencing stakeholders using technical email expertise to ensure best practice is applied across Salesforce account set up, template module creation, and execution success in terms of build, design, layout and optimisation
  • Collaborating on email design – working with agency partners and internal brand teams on email template design, ensuring imagery is on‐brand and fit for purpose for use in email journeys
  • Monitoring market trends – staying current with email trends in the wider market with a view to sharing insight or lessons with the team
  • Managing data requirements – briefing Targeting Team on data requirements and securing Demand & Planning resource to deliver data on time
  • Scheduling and managing emails through Air Traffic Control process ensuring on‐time delivery
  • Analysing and reporting – applying excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills using dashboards and reporting tools to measure engagement and commercial KPIs against internal and external benchmarks, providing detailed analysis and insight on 'Always On' and campaign activity to inform and continuously improve future email communications
  • Taking ownership of control processes – defining, reviewing and updating the control processes behind the design, build and send of marketing emails for the Wealth Management and Digital Investing businesses, including training Marketing Managers on Segregation of Duty Controls
  • Delivering test & learn programmes – creating and managing test & learn plans (email subject line testing, content testing, etc.) to drive business outcomes
  • Managing prospecting databases – creating and managing third‐party prospecting databases including sign‐up forms and registration emails
  • Ensuring email resilience – maintaining a robust email resilience communication plan that is regularly reviewed and tested
  • Managing stakeholder relationships – keeping stakeholders informed on all key milestones, raising any issues in a timely and rational manner with clear recommendations
  • Using effective stakeholder management to challenge ideas and decisions, ensuring that business objectives are met and aligned to marketing strategy
  • Seeking continuous improvement – embracing new ways of working to aid acquisition, trading and retention of customers
  • Ensuring compliance – carrying out all activities in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Policies and Policy Standards
