About the role:
We operate a Digital Centre of Excellence within the clients’ marketing department where they have an ambition to put the Saudi events industry on the global map. The Digital Centre of Excellence owns the development and strategy of digital channels, and exists to grow audiences and engagement through all digital touchpoints. The Marketing Manager will play a key role in designing and delivering complex integrated marketing campaigns that are targeted towards key audience profiles – executed across multiple marketing channels.
Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing and partnering with our client’s senior marketing team, the Marketing Manager will create, execute, monitor, and optimise integrated marketing campaigns across our client’s marketing channels to grow audiences and increase engagement, supporting the achievement of the business’s overall targets, goals, and objectives. This is an excellent role for candidates looking for a 4‑month contract, who have the relevant experience and are excited about using their skills alongside strong marketing and sales teams to help drive best‑in‑class digital marketing.
The individual needs to be analytical and data orientated with a history of testing and optimisation, but with creative flair and exceptional attention to detail. The candidate should have experience of marketing automation technologies and be accustomed to delivering in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
You will be part of a team of 12 within the Digital Centre of Excellence where it will be your responsibility for meeting specific KPI targets, such as total conversions and total leads generated. You will be working in collaboration with the wider marketing team (approximately 30 in the team), and you will be expected to work closely with our client’s other external agencies and partners.
What you will be doing:
- Work with the Digital Centre of Excellence, client marketing team and external agencies to ensure successful delivery of marketing campaigns in line with agreed KPI’s and marketing strategy.
- Monitor campaign performance, produce relevant and timely reports and recommend changes to campaign execution based on data insights.
- Experience of creating tailored/relevant customer communications targeted at key audiences designed to drive engagement and conversion.
- An advanced knowledge of SEO, PPC, CRO, Data-Analytics, Email Marketing, Social, Website CMS and Display, and understanding the role that each channel plays in the digital marketing ecosystem.
- Recommend website strategy to maximise relevant traffic and conversion.
- Monitor and adjust digital marketing activity based on performance metrics, with the curiosity to identify insights and best practices to read and continually optimise performance based on results.
- Develop personas, value propositions and messaging for each of the key segments.
- Develop and deliver content calendars through relevant channels (email marketing, social media, digital marketing, direct mail, etc).
- Having a digital-first mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences.
- Having the strategic know-how when it comes to planning digital content campaigns, coupled with the skills to effectively execute.
- The ability to deliver the right messages to right audiences at the right time, and be able to evidence strategies you implemented.
- Ability to manage budget and spend, and to inform channel annual planning.
- Contribute to management information reporting routines to recognise the impact of spend against each revenue channel and optimise to grow sales, traffic, conversion, and data.
- Collaborate with Sales, Strategy & Planning Marketing Leaders to intake regional campaign strategies, stories, and KPIs.
- Coordinate the design and production of all marketing collateral to be determined within the marketing plan.
- Partner with creative team to ensure creative assets developed meet the needs of the performance marketing plan, including opportunities to test and learn.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex information in a simple and clear manner that is understandable.
- Maintain clear communication, expectations and timelines with internal teammates and external partners on deliverables.
You will oversee the strategic development and delivery of marketing campaigns in line with business objectives set by the Head of Digital Marketing. You’ll be responsible for the planning, building, and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels and platforms.
You will use organic search campaigns, paid advertising, email marketing, social media, and other channels to grow audiences and audience engagement, plus increasing the awareness about our client’s brand, digital product offering, and services – ensuring a joined up holistic approach across the digital marketing ecosystem.
You will use data analytics software tools such as Google Analytics to understand how your campaigns are performing and identify the best strategic opportunities to advance business goals for generating brand awareness and increasing conversions.
What you need to be great in this role:
- Experience of building and sustaining meaningful client partnerships whilst maintaining a strong commercial focus.
- Thorough understanding & experience of digital (PPC, SEO, online advertising) and direct marketing.
- Experience using Eloqua and/or Adobe Experience Manager.
- Results driven – creation of and delivery against business plans driven by growth targets.
- Confident working autonomously with partner or 3rd party agencies.
- Deadline and target driven.
- Excellent presentation skills – both written and spoken.
- Understanding of to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top tier agency service.
- B2B experience is necessary.
- 5+ years of relevant digital marketing experience.
