Role: Digital Designer Location: Glasgow, United Kingdom About the role: Working in partnership with our client, a s a Digital Designer , you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to crafting visually compelling and impactful designs for a leading insurance brand. The ideal candidate is a versatile creative with high-level technical skills and a sharp eye for detail . You will have a solid background in execut ing innovative design solutions across digital media. You will act as a brand guardian and as a result will know our client’s brand guidelines inside out, expertly balancing pushing creative boundaries while staying within our client’s brand world. What you will be doing: Create inspiring and exciting content across digital channels – from repurposing or reformatting of assets to ideation. Develop design projects throughout their lifecycle, from concept to execution, incorporating feedback and making necessary design adjustments. Proactively input into creative brainstorming sessions and project kick-offs, collaborating with the Lead Designer to transform briefs into detailed creative responses. Act as brand guardian to ensure that the client’s brand guidelines, partners and audience are correctly and respectfully represented. Keenly evaluate and monitor industry trends and brands, research industry developments in branding and marketing to be at the forefront of creative excellence. Develop an effective and collaborative working relationship with colleagues and multiple client stakeholders. Handle multiple projects simultaneously and independently, thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment. Produce impactful creative design work based on a deep understanding of the client’s business, target audience and priorities. Create print/screen designs, social media assets, video storyboards, large format designs and various collateral for flagship campaigns confidently with a multi-channel mindset. Prepare final designs with meticulous attention to detail and drive for well-crafted work. What you need to be great in this role: Experience across digital media production in an agency or within an in-house marketing department, ideally within the B2B landscape. An innate creative flair and strategic thinker, demonstratable experience of strong concepting skills – full of ideas across multi-platforms, balancing business needs with impactful and powerful ideas. A keen eye for detail and solid knowledge of design fundamentals – including accessibility, content hierarchy, layouts, imagery and textual stylisation and typography. In-depth knowledge of Adobe XD, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator , Premier Pro and Adobe After Effects (including core motion design principles like editing and storyboarding). Ability to work independently and with minimal input, generating design concepts and innovative new ideas, often to tight deadlines.
