About the role: Our client is looking for a Senior Digital Design Lead with a wealth of experience creating digital campaigns across all digital and social platforms. We are looking for someone who can join and lead our team of designers to work both solo and collaboratively on projects ranging from integrated digital campaigns, always on social campaigns, stand‑alone creative campaigns and longer form digital content. This is a great opportunity to work within a growing team, creating impactful communications across the wide range of big brands.

A strong understanding of conceptual digital creative, social platforms and digital best practice is essential, as is the experience to execute projects of all sizes and complete them with resourcefulness and dedication. The ideal candidate will have good foundations in digital, with a desire to create impactful, award‑winning and best in class stand‑out digital work. There is a real desire from our clients to create talkable work that will make them famous! Absolute knowledge of all major social media platforms is a must, as well as an understanding and desire to tailor creative ideas for them. You’ll ideally be from a digital/social/integrated agency background with around 7 years’ experience.

The role is fast‑paced and responsive, working across multiple different projects and clients within the group. You will form part of a team that delivers the following:

What you will be doing:

  • Work on projects from start to finish — working collaboratively across teams on ideation, asset creation and implementation.
  • Lead a team of senior and mid-level designers and motion graphic designers.
  • Be a brand guardian.
  • Create digital assets, social media assets, videos, GIFs, MEMEs, and different event and campaign collateral.
  • Pull together decks to showcase your work to the clients and include best‑in‑class creative references to help sell it in.
  • Be a QC guardian for the design department and oversee all design work.
  • Using existing assets and stock imagery to come up with relevant and up‑to‑date content.
  • Keeping up to date with current digital and creative trends.
  • Create work to the client’s brief and exacting standards.
  • Develop an effective working relationship with colleagues and clients and provide excellent customer service.
  • Effectively manage workloads within agreed timescales.
  • Proactively monitor quality, accuracy and consistency.
  • Look for ways to develop new creative within the guidelines, marketing and production opportunities.
  • Work proactively under own initiative and as part of the creative team.
  • Complete timesheets.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Strong conceptual skills and an understanding of class leading UK creative campaigns and why they work.
  • Passionate about digital & social media and understand the latest innovations across platforms.
  • Love working in a fast‑paced adaptable environment.
  • Able to work both independently, and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills – able to express themselves clearly.
  • Ability to adhere to internal processes, including following brand guidelines.
  • Desire to learn and offer new skills and do this without being prompted.
  • Great leadership skills to lead and inspire other designers.
  • Be able to put a convincing and crafted creative deck together.
