About the role: We are looking for an Account Manager to join our EU Retail team, working in true collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to support a number of key processes. Working in the Commercial pillar will provide planning and executional support to facilitate effective ways of working on upcoming activations. You must be willing and eligible to travel within Europe. At a minimum, you will visit the client’s HQ in Herzogenaurach, Germany once a quarter but you may also be required to travel to other European cities for specific projects.
What you will be doing:
- Create and manage updates of activation calendar in the Campaign Portal
- Provide retail marketing tools for in‑store execution of Retail Marketing Campaigns/Activations via usage of digital tool DAB (Digital Asset Box) to open and deliver DAB orders for ISC (in‑store communication)
- Provide retail marketing bespoke tools for in‑store execution of Retail Marketing Campaigns/Activations following the Campaign CPA & Process Playbook with the designated production partner
- Create campaign reports including execution images on the SharePoint platform
- Check translation gaps for campaign orders and inform respective Oliver teams
- Inform the internal country‑based colleagues about final tools’ mix per each location and direction for execution
- Line Management of Senior Account Executive or Account Executive within the OLIVER team, including regular 121s, internal objective setting & performance management
What you need to be great in this role:
- Marketing degree and 3 years of industry relevant working experience OR at least 4 years industry related experience
- Experience within a retail or marketing role
- Experience and/or knowledge of Visual Merchandising would be highly advantageous
- Proven experience with retail needs and understanding of Point of Sale communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Additional languages beneficial (German, Spanish, French, or other European languages)
- Good organisational skills
- Service oriented
