Location: Manchester, United Kingdom

About the role:

As Account Manager you will work closely with the client's stakeholders and Oliver’s on ‑ site team to deliver creative and production work — with a particular focus on video content production and packaging design/artwork — ensuring work is delivered on time, on brief and on budget.

You will report to the Account Director and be a key day ‑ to ‑ day contact for the client. The account team is a cross ‑ functional, collaborative unitcomprisingaccount leads, producers,project managers,designersandartworkers. This on ‑ site team plugs into Oliver’s global capability to bring planning,creativeand productionexpertiseto the client whenrequired.

This role requires presence at the client's Manchester offices a minimum of 3 days per week. Two days per week are flexible for remote working.

What you will be doing:

  • Client management & service
    • Be the primary day ‑ to ‑ day point of contact for the client on assigned projects.
    • Build andmaintainstrong client relationships; understand client priorities, businessneedsand brand guidelines.
    • Lead andparticipatein client status calls, productioncallsand workshops; set agendas and follow up with clear meeting notes and actions.
    • Present work to client stakeholders with support from the creative team; capture and manage feedback and approvals.
  • Project delivery & creative production
    • Accept,reviewandprioritiseclient briefs; translate briefs into clear internal briefs for design,productionand creative teams.
    • Oversee the production lifecycle for marketing assets, especially video and packaging artwork — ensuring briefs, schedules, resourceallocationand quality controls are in place.
    • Coordinate with internal designers, producers, artworkers and external suppliers todeliver againstobjectives.
    • Escalate risks and issues early and drive pragmatic solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Financial & commercial responsibility
    • Manage project forecasting, monthlybudgetsand financial reporting for assignedprojects;support Account Director on account pipelines and budget planning.
    • Raise cost estimates, share costs withclient, obtain POapprovalsand manage spend tracking.
    • MaximiseROI through careful scope and budget control while supporting commercial opportunities for account growth.
  • Planning, reporting & strategy
    • Maintain the brief pipeline and delivery schedules; ensure resource planning aligns with demand.
    • Produce regular reports andMI, andsupport QBR preparation and delivery.
    • Support the Account Director in implementing strategic account plans andidentifyopportunities to grow the relationship.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • A confident communicator and presenter who can translate complex or technical material into compelling narratives for different stakeholders.
  • A relationship builder who earns trust through consistently delivering high-quality work and clear,timelycommunication.
  • 3+ years agency account management experience (preferably with FMCG / CPG / consumer brands or Home & Personal Care).
  • Hands ‑ on experience managing creative production workflows, especially video production and packaging artwork / print production.
  • Proven project management skills across full project lifecycles, including governance, scheduling,resourcingand risk management.
  • Comfortable with budget management, costapprovalsand POs; able tomonitorand report on financials.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with experience creating client-facing documentation and presentations.
  • Experience working with cross ‑ functional teams — creative, design, production, strategy — and managing client feedback loops.
  • Experience across digital, print, motion graphics,webor UX/UI is a plus.
  • Prior exposure to on ‑ site agency models or embedded agency working.
  • Familiarity with asset management workflows and production software/tools.
