Are you an experienced Applications / Project Engineer with a background in automotive testing? Do you have strong engineering foundations, project management skills, and the ability to adapt existing products to meet customer needs? If so, we want to hear from you. You will be involved in the full product life cycle, from conception to sales support, while engaging with customers and internal teams to deliver class-leading innovations. As an Applications Engineer, you will play a key role in understanding customer requirements, managing engineering projects, and supporting product development. Your responsibilities as an Applications / Project Engineer: Analyse customer needs and propose innovative solutions for automotive applications. Manage product life cycles from conception through to release, ensuring deadlines are met. Communicate with development and test teams, reporting progress to management. Create and maintain detailed specifications for product development. Provide pre-sales support, on-site demonstrations, and customer training. Assist marketing activities, including expos, content creation, and technical articles. Your current experience which will help you as an Applications / Project Engineer: 2+ years of experience in the automotive engineer sector. Engineering-based degree qualified. Experience managing multiple concurrent projects. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, regulations, and specifications. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work within a cross-discipline engineering team. Customer-facing experience with strong written and verbal communication skills. Full clean driving licence. What you can expect as an Applications / Project Engineer: Up to £45k salary. Company bonus scheme. Enhanced company pension. Private healthcare.
