Based in Kentish Town, London, Oliver Sweeney is a British Menswear brand established in 1989. With a deep commitment to craftsmanship and customer service, we design and source premium quality clothing, footwear and accessories, working with the best factories, tanneries and mills around the world. The business has enjoyed rapid growth over the last few years through our online and wholesale channels and continues to grow at a pace. We are now looking for a dynamic and confident graduate to join our small but growing team.

Working closely with the ecommerce manager and graphic designer, the successful candidate will be given a full introduction to ecommerce and online marketing within a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Areas of the Role:
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining all content on the website using Shopify.
  • Ensure customers are presented with the most up to date, detailed and engaging content to maximise conversion rate.
  • Ownership of the seasonal collection launch, collating copy, photography and product information and managing the product upload process.
  • Working with the creative, merchandising and product teams to ensure all information is accurate and commercial.
  • Work closely with our graphic designer and put together briefs for website content updates to improve customer experience and conversion rates on the site.
  • Testing the staging version of the website to test new functionality and replicate customer problems.
  • Helping to put new features live without introducing new bugs.
  • Work with our customer service team to address any on-site issues, analyse product returns information and communicate marketing activities to ensure the team have all relevant information.
  • Being introduced to Matomo/Google Analytics and other reporting tools to help analyse performance across our marketing efforts.
  • Conducting competitor analysis and comparing our online presence to other best-in-class websites to help ensure we are always several steps ahead.
  • Being fully involved in the team and gaining a practical understanding of how the business operates as well as acquiring a complete understanding of the product range.
  • Learning how the various online marketing channels work and then helping to monitor PPC advertising on Google Adwords, paid social advertising on Facebook, affiliate marketing with Awin, email marketing with Klaviyo and other online channels.
The ideal candidate will:
  • Be hands-on and willing to learn.
  • Quickly pick up and own small tasks.
  • Be interested in the world of ecommerce and online marketing.
  • Be analytical and able to work through problems.
  • Have experience of using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Have some experience or knowledge of Ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, Big Commerce).
  • Be committed to delivering quality work with excellent attention to detail.
