Oliver Smith Recruitment are working in partnership with our key client in Glasgow to hire a Remote Credit Control specialist on a minimum 6 month contract. You will be working in a small knit finance team reporting to the Head of Finance. Alongside Credit Control, there is an opportunity to take on wider finance duties. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1–3 years credit control experience who is looking to expand their finance skills.
- Responsible for collection of debt via telephone and email. Good telephone manners are essential.
- Weekly cash flow forecasting
- Liaising with finance team on disputed accounts
- Setting credit limits and payment terms
- Creating customer accounts on a system
- Overseeing service and utility charge
- Raising and tracking credit notes
- Improving the collection and billing processes
