Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk (Temporary to Permanent)

This position will provide essential support to the Finance Manager and help ensure the finance department operates smoothly and efficiently. It's ideal for a candidate looking to further their experience in a fast-paced finance environment, with opportunities for training and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile and input daily cash and credit card receipts from each store; investigate discrepancies as needed
- Complete timely banking and reconciliation tasks; flag and report any irregularities
- Ensure accuracy of all company transactions entered into financial systems
- Verify and check supplier statements
- Input purchase ledger invoices with appropriate cost centre breakdowns into ERP system
- Prepare suggested supplier payments
- Support with general admin tasks and documentation management
- Maintain accurate filing systems and manage paperwork flow
- Identify and correct errors proactively
- Support Finance Manager with ad hoc tasks as required
Role Details:
- Contract: 3 months temporary to permanent
- Schedule: 3 days per week (flexible days)
- Location: Glasgow City Centre – 5-minute walk from Central and Queen Street stations
- Working Model: Hybrid (in-office and remote working)
- Pay: £14 – £16 per hour, depending on experience
