Oliver Smith Recruitment are working in partnership with our key client in Bellshill to recruit a Part Time Payroll specialist. Our client is flexible if the suitable candidate wants to work 3 or 4 days per week.
Duties:
- Manage end to end UK payroll ensuring timely and accurate employee payments
- Validate payroll inputs including bonuses and deductions
- Process starters and leavers
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, UK tax legislation and national insurance rules
- Prepare payroll journals and post entries to general ledger
- Dealing with employee queries
- Processing payments
- Reconcile payroll accounts
- Calculating amendments to pay such as SSP, SMP, SPP
- Liaising with HMRC
