Oliver Smith Recruitment are working exclusively with our key client in North Lanarkshire to recruit a reliable and detail-oriented Senior Finance Officer to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our key client.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Delivering consolidated management accounts, providing support in rolling forecasts, monthly budgets
- Ensuring the highest standards of internal control and risk management
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts
- Support budgeting and financial forecasting
- Prepare monthly management accounts and cashflow summaries
- Provide timely financial data for reports
- Support year-end accounts preparation for the external accountant/auditor
- Supporting the organisation with achieving value for money by monitoring and analysing spend levels
- Use accounting software for bookkeeping
About You
- Previous experience in a finance-related role (charity experience desirable)
- Proficient with financial software
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
