Oliver Smith Recruitment are working in partnership with our key client in Stirling to recruit a Payroll Manager on a temporary to permanent basis. This role will be based at our clients HQ in Stirling. You’ll report directly to the Financial Director and take on full responsibility for the company’s payroll.
Duties:
- Processing payrolls from start to finish
- Setting up PAYE schemes
- Dealing with HMRC and client queries
- Pension scheme set up (NEST)
- Uploading pension contributions
- Advising on statutory benefits
- Knowledge and ability to assist colleagues where required
- Processing year ends, P11ds, P60s etc.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Relevant experience in processing multiple client payrolls from start to finish.
- BACS payments
- An understanding of PAYE compliance.
- Up to date knowledge of payroll legislation.
- Experience in managing Auto Enrolment pension schemes
- An understanding of key filing deadlines.
- The ability to work accurately and calmly under pressure.
- The ability to meet tight deadlines.
- The ability to manage own workload.
- A flexible approach.
- Good IT skills – including use of Excel template importing of data
