Oliver Smith Recruitment are working exclusively with our key client in Glasgow to recruit an IT Administrator on a long term temporary contract.

This role would suit someone looking for a new challenge managing a diverse team through repetitive, day to day activity-based work, involving data matching, batch data uploading and downloading for processing, keying, and copying data into various IT/data systems, who enjoys leading a team maximising accuracy and identifying process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage user accounts, permissions and access controls
  • Account creation
  • Dealing with tech issues
  • Provide technical support and manage the ticketing system for staff and the wider network
  • Build, configure and maintain all IT equipment and hardware
  • Document daily tasks, procedures and ongoing projects
  • Monitor system performance and ensure security through backups, updates and patches
  • Coordinate with vendors and manage IT-related procurement
