Oliver Smith Recruitment are working in partnership with our key client in Bearsden to hire an Administrator on a permanent contract. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's office. You will provide administrative support to various departments and assist with day-to-day tasks. If you are a proactive individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, we would love to hear from you!

Duties:

  • Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, faxing, filing, and data entry
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
  • Greet visitors and provide them with necessary information
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for management
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, reports, and other documents
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for staff members
  • Assist in organizing company events or meetings
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion
