Duties as a Management Accountant

  • Preparing monthly management accounts, providing analysis.
  • Lead the site's finance function and manage and support the Finance Assistant
  • Manage Accounts Payable processes, including supplier invoice processing, reconciliations and query resolution
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budget and forecasts
  • Monitor financial performance
  • Produce sales and margin reporting
  • Support payroll administration
  • Owning the reconciliation and consolidation of all balance sheet accounts and resolving discrepancies.
  • Supporting the Finance Director with the annual budgeting process and ongoing reforecasting cycles.
  • Assisting the Finance Director with reporting requirements to the Group finance function.
  • Supporting the income reconciliation process.
  • Take responsibility for risk management and compliance activities, including preparing and submitting VAT returns to HMRC.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with legal requirements, accounting standards, and internal policies.
  • Support the annual audit process.
  • Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and controls.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects as required.
