We’re partnering with a leading Global 3PL logistics business to appoint an interim Senior Transport Compliance Manager on a 12-month interim, day rate contract. (inside IR35).
In this high-impact role, you’ll take full ownership of UK & EU compliance for a 5,000+ vehicle fleet operating across multiple sites. You’ll drive safety, legal compliance, and operational excellence — setting the gold standard in transport operations.
The Role:
- Design a transport Compliance function, Execute through to Implementation
- Lead all transport compliance nationwide.
- Oversee audits, inspections, maintenance & driver regs.
- Manage incidents, insurance, legal liaison, and SLAs.
- Enhance training programmes & embed a safety-first culture.
The ideal candidate will have experience of setting up and running a transport compliance function from design, delivery and implementation. From legal, compliance, audit and insurances.
Expert knowledge of UK transport law & DVSA/DfT regs.
Senior-level experience managing large multi-site fleets.
CPC qualification (desirable) & strong stakeholder skills.
Contract Details:
📍 Hybrid – 2–3 days/week in the Midlands + national travel
