We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established client who is looking to add two experienced CNC Setter Programmers to their team. Positions Available:
- 1 x CNC Sliding Head Setter Programmer
- 1 x CNC Fixed Head Setter Programmer
The Role:
As a CNC Setter Programmer, you will be responsible for setting and programming CNC machinery to produce high-quality components to drawing specifications. Your duties will include:
- CNC machine setting and programming
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Tool changes and setting offsets
- Carrying out quality checks and ensuring components meet specifications
- General machine maintenance and housekeeping
- Troubleshooting and making adjustments where required
- Working efficiently and maintaining high standards of quality
About You:
We are looking for experienced CNC Setters who are confident programming their own machines and have a strong understanding of CNC machining. You will ideally have experience with either sliding head or fixed head CNC machinery, along with:
- Strong engineering drawing interpretation skills
- Experience with tool changes and offsets
- CNC setting and programming experience
- A good understanding of machining processes
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A reliable and professional approach to work
Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00
Friday: 07:00 - 14:00
